Banana Pudding is manna from Heaven. Where else but America could you take some cookies, some bananas, and some generic vanilla pudding and somehow make the most delicious concoction ever created? To top it off the cookies and pudding are vanilla and vanilla comes from Mexico and Bananas come from Southeast Asia and were imported to the tropics and even the meringue was an idea imported from Sweden. Nothing in Banana Pudding is native to America except the ability to blend it all together into something delicious.
Banana Pudding is much like our American culture a blending of things not native to the land* that came together into something really good.
