American Indians are the most humble people in America. Their culture was stolen and destroyed by the settling Europeans and despite every negative thing that has ever happened to them, they are still fair traders, honest human beings, and trustworthy friends. I am proud to share this land with them. I believe that Native Americans should be revered and looked up to as a model of civility and that as a country we should embrace all that is good about them and make it part of our national heritage.
As a nation we can never repay our debt to them but at the very least we can acknowledge their role in our history.
I remember when it was cool to play Cowboys and Indians. I think it’s sad that political correctness has turned that into something of the past.
