(Danville) — No one was hurt in a Tuesday morning house fire in the Schoolfield community.
The Danville Fire Department got the call just after seven-thirty from 18 Carlson Avenue. Three Engines, a Ladder truck a Battalion Chief and 14 personnel responded.
They saw moderate smoke coming from the house. Crews went inside and found the fire in the front bedroom. They doused the blaze and remained on scene while the Fire Marshal’s office investigated.
Discarded smoking materials sparked the blaze.
