(Danville) — A suspect is in custody after a Tuesday night shooting death in north Danville.
Police got a call of shots fired just before 11pm at Woodside Village in the 1300 block of Piney Forest Road. Officers found 24-year old Tasean Delvecchio Farmer of Danville inside an apartment suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to SOVAH Health and later pronounced dead.
Hours later, authorities in North Carolina tracked down the suspect, 32-year old Richard Lee Wilson of Danville. (see photo) He’s charged with second degree murder and three weapons counts.
While the case remains under investigation, police say it appears to be an isolated incident.
