(Danville) — Developers will get to build a large housing development in Danville’s west end.
Danville City Council Tuesday unanimously approved a Special Use Permit for Blackstone Building Group to build a Planned Unit Development at the corner of Riverside Drive and Vandola Road.
The proposed Vandola Crescent Project will feature 360 two-and-three story town and patio homes. 46 townhomes will use Vandola Road for access and egress.
The development will stretch from the intersection of Kayewood Lane and Riverside to the intersection of Kayewood and Westover.
Blackstone estimates their tax value at 120 million dollars with over 720-thousand dollars in water and sewer tap fees. Blackstone will also commit three-and-a-half million dollars for interest rate buydowns and down payment assistance to help those who need workforce housing.
