(Danville) –Danville Police are charging a Milton man after what investigators call a “road rage” incident this week.
It happened Tuesday afternoon in the 700 block of Halifax Road. A caller said shots had been fired. A short time later, a victim reported their vehicle had been shot into after a confrontation with another driver.
Through information obtained at the scene, 28-year old Marlowe Malik Cobbs of Milton was identified as the culprit. He was located in Caswell County with help from the Caswell County Sheriff’s Office.
Cobbs has been extradited back to Virginia and is in the Danville City Jail under no bond. He is charged with attempted aggravated malicious wounding, child endangerment and several weapons counts.
No one was hurt in the incident.
