Locals charged in game parlor raid

    (Ruffin, N.C.) — Two Pittsylvania County residents are facing charges after Rockingham County authorities shut down an illegal video gaming operation in Ruffin. 

    Rockingham and Caswell County Sheriff’s Deputies, along with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, served a search warrant this weekend at a former shell building off of Mayfield Road, near the Route 29 bypass. They reportedly found various video gaming electronics, hard drives, video surveillance equipment, and an undisclosed amount of cash. 

    38-year old Shavon Bauldwin of Keeling, 53-year old Dwayne Johnson of Danville and 59-year old Troy Stubblefield of Winston Salem are charged with Operating More than Five Video Gaming Machines and several misdemeanor counts.
