(Danville) — One person was shot in an altercation Monday evening at Purdum Woods.
The call came in just before seven o’clock Monday evening. Officers found a 27-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to his arm. They also found a 31 year-old man nearby in the 1700 block of Richmond Boulevard who had been hit in the head with a blunt object.
Both were taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators say the two victims and a third male, were together in an apartment in Purdum Woods during an attempted robbery.
This incident remains under investigation. So far no charges have been filed.
