(Danville) — Danville Police have made an arrest in an attempted robbery this week that sent two men to the hospital.
Police say it happened Monday evening at Purdum Woods. Three people were inside a unit during an attempted robbery. One of them was shot in the arm, another was hit on the head with a blunt object. Both were treated at SOVAH Danville and later released.
Danville Police are charging 27-year old Markuis Liqwon Skipwith with robbery with serious injury, two counts of aggravated malicious wounding, and five weapons counts. He is being held in the Danville City Jail without bond.
The incident remains under investigation.
