(Yanceyville, N.C.) — A Caswell County man arrested this weekend in connection with a 2022 murder is the second suspect in the fatal shooting.
On Friday, the Caswell County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25 year old Seneca Aleem Wenstley of Timberlake, North Carolina. Caswell County Sheriff’s Sergeant Greg Ingram says Wenstley is a suspect in a February 6, 2022 shooting at Lucky’s Night Club near the state line.
Daren Lorenzo Hairston of Danville was gunned down in an altercation. Hairston had played football at George Washington High School.
It was a little over a year ago when Caswell County authorities arrested the first suspect, 32-year-old Lawan Jamar Terry. He was charged with first-degree murder.
Wenstley is also charged with First Degree Murder and is being held in the Caswell County Detention Center without bond. His first appearance in Caswell District Court is scheduled for Wednesday at 9:00am.
