(Danville) — Turns out the rumors were true—one of the top names in the culinary industry is opening a restaurant in Danville.
Caesars Virginia announced Tuesday that Chef Gordon Ramsay will open his first restaurant in Virginia at the Caesars Virginia Casino and Resort on West Main Street. Ramsay has had a longstanding partnership with Caesars.
The famous chef shared a message on social media Tuesday. “I am so thrilled to give the amazing people of the Commonwealth an unforgettable experience in my beautiful place,” Ramsay said. “That will include my signature dishes like Beef Wellington and that amazing dessert, Sticky Toffee Pudding.”
Ramsay’s Kitchen at Caesars Virginia is expected to open later this year, when the full casino and resort opens its doors. The restaurant will offer more than 250 seating options, including a private dining room and an outdoor patio with views of the three sisters smokestacks, while serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Ramsay’s Kitchen will include signature dishes such as Chef Ramsay’s legendary Beef Wellington, delectable Crispy Skin Salmon,mouthwatering Pan Seared Scallops, or a 24-ounce Bone-In Ribeye. Starters include Virginia Oysters, Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes and Sticky Chicken Wings. The dessert menu offers traditional British treats, such as Chef’s Signature Sticky Toffee Pudding and modern favorites, such as Vanilla Mascarpone Cheesecake.
