(Danville) — One person died in a single-vehicle crash Saturday morning on the Danville Expressway.
Danville Police say it happened at around 9:30 a.m. Saturday near the Goodyear Boulevard exit. Traffic was routed on to Goodyear Boulevard while the crash was investigated and cleared.
35-year old Kasie Williams of Pittsylvania County was pronounced dead at the scene. She was the only one in the vehicle. Investigators say Williams was traveling north when she crossed the center median and overturned.
The crash remains under investigation.
