(Danville) — The Danville Sheriff’s Department is warning folks about a scam. Sheriff Mike Mondul says they’ve heard that calls are being placed to city residents, claiming to be Deputy A. Roberson and other Law Enforcement personnel.
The caller claims to be collecting money for various purposes. Mondul says his Office does not place calls requesting money or collecting fines. Please do not give money out over the phone under any circumstances.
