(Danville) — Caesars is making a push south of the border to staff their massive casino and resort in Danville.
The company had a job fair Tuesday at the Bryan Park Conference and Enrichment Center near Greensboro. More than 200 people showed up. They’ll host another job fair next week at the Greensboro Coliseum.
Caesars has around 650 additional jobs to fill once the permanent facility opens. They already have hundreds of workers at the temporary casino on West Main Street.
The $650 million 90,000-square foot casino, hotel and entertainment complex is still on track to open by the end of the year. The temporary casino has generated more than 18 million dollars in local taxes in just over a year of operation.
