(Danville) — No injuries and minor damage were reported in a Sunday house fire in Danville.
The Danville Fire Department got the call just before 9:30 Sunday morning from 167 Canterbury Road. The first units found a two story home with smoke coming from an exterior fire that had spread to the enclosed front porch of the home. The occupants and a pet were already out of the house.
Crews extended a fire hose line and doused the blaze in a matter of minutes, leaving minimal damage to the house.
The Fire Department got help from the Danville Live Saving Crew, Danville Police, Danville Utilities and the Gas Department. The fire was ruled accidental.
