(Washington) — Donald Trump’s lawyers are demanding Fifth District Congressman Bob Good ditch a new set of signs that they call misleading.
David A. Warrington’s firm sent Good’s Congressional campaign a cease-and-desist latter this weekend over yard signs which feature Trump’s name prominently above Good’s.
Last week, Trump endorsed John McGuire, who is challenging Good for the Fifth District Republican nomination. Earlier this year, Good endorsed Ron DeSantis in the GOP Presidential race, but quickly gave Trump his endorsement after DeSantis withdrew from the race.
Trump’s lawyers call the signs ” an abuse of the voters’ trust” and a “fraud on the voters of Virginia’s 5th Congressional District.”
There has been no statement yet from the Good campaign.
Voters will decide between Good and McGuire in a June 18th primary.
