(Yanceyville, N.C.) — A Danville man arrested this week is the third person to be charged in a 2022 murder at a Caswell County bar.
22-year-old Savion Ali Keene (pictured) was arrested Tuesday. He is charged with first degree murder in a February-2022 shooting at Lucky’s Night Club near the state line.
21-year old Daren Lorenzo Hairston of Danville was gunned down in an altercation in the bar’s parking lot. Hairston was a 2018 graduate of George Washington High School who played football for the Eagles. He was a two-year varsity starter at Wide Receiver. In his career Hairston caught 14 passes for 231 yards, scoring two touchdowns.
It was two years ago when Caswell County authorities arrested the first suspect, 32-year-old Lawan Jamar Terry. He was charged with first-degree murder.
Earlier this year, the Caswell County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25 year old Seneca Aleem Wenstley of Timberlake-North Carolina. He’s also charged with First Degree Murder and is also being held in the Caswell County Detention Center without bond.
